Black Bean Brownies - A Nutritious Treat You'll Want to Eat!
Black Bean Brownies might sound a little unusual to you. I was a skeptic, until I tried a bite. They are absolutely, positively DELICIOUS! With half the sugar of regular brownies, and oatmeal and beans providing fiber and protein, this is a dessert I can feel good about. So good, that I had to share this dietitian-approved dessert with you!

Ingredients:
1 15oz can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 cup oats
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. honey
1/3 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in a food processor. Blend well. Stir in the chips, then pour brownie batter into a greased 8×8 pan. Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top. Bake for 15 minutes. Be sure to cool for a few minutes before cutting so that the brownies are set. Serve with a tall glass of milk.
